John formed Lovell Consulting in 1997. He previously worked at Arthur Andersen and McBains Cooper. John has a first class degree from Reading University in quantity surveying and an MPhil in management studies from Green Templeton College, Oxford. John is a Chartered Surveyor and a member of the Association of Taxation Technicians.
Sophie has a 2:1 Honours degree from Oxford University and an MSc in Construction Cost Management from the University of Reading. Sophie is a Chartered Surveyor and spent six years at Gardiner & Theobald LLP before joining Lovell Consulting in January 2010. Sophie is a member of the Association of Taxation Technicians.
Abby studied Quantity Surveying Studies at Liverpool John Moores University and attained a 2.1 Honours Degree. She also has a Post Graduate Diploma in Surveying from the College of Estate Management. Abby previously worked for Davis Langdon & Seah (M) Sdn. Bhd. before joining Lovell Consulting in August 2008 and is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
Sarah studied Quantity Surveying at University of Technology Malaysia and attained a 2.1 Honours Degree. Sarah previously worked in Australia, London and Dublin as a Quantity Surveyor before joining Lovell Consulting in November 2010 and is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
Kirsty is a chartered quantity surveyor with over 15 years of capital allowances experience. Kirsty’s previous capital allowances experience was with accountants KPMG and surveyors EC Harris. Before specialising in capital allowances Kirsty spent 5 years training as a chartered quantity surveyor.
Michael recently joined Lovell Consulting after 15 years within the Valuation Office providing capital allowances valuation and policy advice as internal expert to HMRC. Michael studied quantity surveying at Nottingham Trent University and is a chartered quantity surveyor. Mike has a wealth of experience reviewing capital allowances analysis. Mike previously worked with Davis Langdon as a quantity surveyor and has 40 years experience as a surveyor.
Glenn recently joined Lovell Consulting, having spent the last 7 years with HMRC/Valuation Office as an internal capital allowances specialist. He holds a degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Santo Tomas, Philippines and a Diploma in Surveying from the College of Estate Management. Glenn is a chartered quantity surveyor with 18 years experience.
Abu has a first class Honours degree in Accounting and Business Management from the University of Westminster. Abu joined Lovell Consulting in September 2012. He is a member of the Association of Taxation Technicians and is currently working towards membership with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
Sean studied Quantity Surveying at the University of Reading attaining a First Class honours degree. During his degree, Sean was the Lovell Consulting student prize winner. Sean previously worked for Savills Capital Allowances before joining Lovell Consulting and is currently working towards membership with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and accreditation by the Association of Taxation Technicians.
Julie Davies is a senior administrator responsible for marketing and client care. Prior to this, Julie gained a marketing background at Harte-Hanks then joined the NSPCC in Client Liaison and Fundraising Support.
Nicola has an RSA Diploma in Business Administration from Oxford College of Further Education. Having previously worked for Savills as Group Secretary, and as PA to Chartered Surveyors at Butler Sherborn before joining Lovell Consulting in February 2016.
